aphtyr v.5 featured a comments system that went awry after extended use.

aphtyr v.6: endeavors (dec 2004 - aug 2005)
endeavors featured tablet-drawn art and various project pages.

aphtyr v.7: spirit (nov 2005 - feb 2006)
aphtyrSpirit was intended as a quick visual makeover.

aphtyr v.8: deliverance (jul 2006 - dec 2006)
the theme for aphtyr v.8 came from the i ching, a classical chinese text
